NYSTAR Grant Recruits Nanotech Expert to UB

A grant from the New York State Office of Science, Technology and Academic Research (NYSTAR) allowed the University at Buffalo to recruit Gottfried Strasser, an internationally known scientist in nanotechnology. Strasser, appointed jointly to the Department of Electrical Engineering and the Department of Physics, will use the grant to establish an advanced technological foundry at UB, a critical component for highly competitive nanotechnology research programs.
